Writing Scoop: Sesame Street-The Genius of Combining Learning with Visuals and Auditories

On November 10, 1969 a groundbreaking and extraordinary learning platform appeared in the guise of a children's entertainment TV show: Sesame Street.  The genius premise of the program was to capture kids' awareness while providing educational material, such as number & letter recognition; vocabulary words; science, and social behavior ethics.  Sesame Street continues to be a huge success and a marvelous resource for teaching and learning.  Sesame Street is a model for the use of art, music, entertainment, and other visuals and auditories as educational tools!
