Writing Scoop: Bill of Rights Day- December 15

December 15 is Bill of Rights Day!  The Bill of Rights encompasses the first 10 Amendments of the United States Constitution.  Each of these Amendments secures the rights and freedoms of the people while protecting their governing body as well. 

In 1941, President Franklin D. Roosevelt established this day to honor and celebrate the Bill of Rights.  He requested that all people and government agencies display the American flag and think carefully about the rights we are awarded though the Bill of Rights.
