Writing Scoop: A Small Creature Who Changed the World!

The Mickey Mouse comic strip was first published on January 13, 1930.  This small creature, a mouse, changed many people's thinking.  In order to be successful; to conquer adversity; to thwart enemies; and to function well & productively, one need not be a "super hero."  An ordinary mouse could survive in a challenging and sometimes perilous world.

Mickey Mouse is not only an entertaining cartoon.  Mickey is the common person in all of us.  He was not born wealthy or privileged, yet somehow, his life always works out for him & his friends. How?  Mickey uses simple and straight forward strategies.  He relies on what's available for help or he creates his own "escape hatch."  Determination, grit & the powerful will to reach his goals drives Mickey.  And, of course, there is always a dash of luck! 

Take a tip from Mickey: work hard; focus on your goals & do your best to succeed.  You will!
