Writing Scoop: You CAN Do It!

Just when things get tough: you have written half of your essay assignment and realize that you are off topic, start again!  Remember that part of your initial draft must have some relevant information.  Nothing is completely lost!  Take a deep breath and begin again, using what you can from your first attempt.

The world was first shocked when Amelia Earhart, a woman pilot, began her solo flights.  She succeeded through determination and "grit" to make many extraordinary journeys before she disappeared.  Think of all the exceptional people would made it even though they were told to give up.

When things look tough, you can get through it by sticking to it!
