Writing Scoop: Limitless Creativity- Yosa Buson

Creativity need not be relegated to one discipline or art.  Yosa Buson (1716-1784) is a Japanese poet and painter, who relied on nature's beauty for inspiration.  He allowed his creativity to illustrate his love for the natural world.
No one should limit creativity for it lives in all of us in different forms: story telling, poetry, art, music- whichever is yours, share it!

Three haiku poems from haiku master poet Yosa Buson:

A summer river being crossed
how pleasing
with sandals in my hands!

Light of the moon
Moves west, flowers' shadows
Creep eastward.

In the moonlight,
The color and scent of the wisteria
Seems far away.

Quote by Yosa Buson: "What you want to acquire, you should dare to acquire by any means.  What you want to see, even though it is with difficulty, you should see. You should not let it pass, thinking there will be another chance to see it or acquire it.  It is quite unusual to have a second chance to materialize your desire."
