Today IS an especially exciting day: In honor of Dr. Seuss' Birthday, we also celebrate National Read Across America Day!  The purpose of this day is to inspire and motivate children (and everyone) to READ!  Reading is the essence of Dr. Seuss' philosophy and he encouraged reading through numerous writings.  Seuss is a genius at engaging our minds and hearts with his wonderful characters and their adventures.

These particular words especially stand out from all of Dr. Seuss' books: "Oh the places you'll go!" The wonderful words are also the title of a much beloved book by Seuss.  AND the very spirit of reading, for reading will take you to all of the places in the universe, real or imagined!
